What is QIQI?
QIQI is a professional keratin smoothing system we use at HAIR ETC. STUDIO. It reduces frizz, adds shine, and makes hair significantly more manageable — without making it flat or lifeless. The result is your natural texture, just smoother.
How long does it last?
Typically 3–6 months depending on your hair type, texture, and aftercare. Using sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner extends the life of the treatment. Your stylist will give you specific aftercare advice.
Can I colour my hair before or after keratin?
Yes — but the order matters. Colour should be done at least 2 weeks before keratin. If you want to colour after, wait at least 2 weeks after the treatment. Your stylist can help you plan the timing.
What's the difference between QIQI smoothing and QIQI Botox?
QIQI smoothing is a keratin treatment that reduces frizz and straightens for months. QIQI Botox is a deep conditioning treatment — it doesn't smooth or straighten, it restores moisture, elasticity, and shine to damaged hair. Think of Botox as repair, smoothing as transformation.
What's your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows incur a 50% charge of the scheduled service. We completely understand that life happens — this policy helps us offer those spots to clients on our waitlist.
